Clacton 1956

DSCF1003 This one, I think, is rather interesting as a badge. Artistic appeal aside (and it does something for me but I'm not sure what) it is a very interesting and bold attempt to change the style to a more physical rather then visual one. The badge itself is pressed with curves and flourishes and consists of just 2 colours. If they were a little bolder i would love this badge but the orange and yellow is insipid and does nothing to enhance the brave shapsing. It’s a shame really as with a colour variation such as the rich reds and yellows used to such effect on Bognor 1966 it would be wonderful. This one was made by the Jewellery Co of Dublin.
