Blackpool 1955 (replica)

Doubly disappointing this one and i am kicking myself for not noticing. Not listed as a replica i though i was bidding on a genuine vintage badge. I noticed that it was a replica after winning it. As the price was still low I still paid. Then the postage was underpaid (admittedly Royal Mails pricing is as opaque as the Trains).

Overall it is a nice replica… just not what I bid on.

Blackpool 1964

Butlins are mainly known for their holiday camps. They also diversified into hotels, the badges for which were less widespread and hence often more valuable. This is a fantastically preserved Blackpool 1964 badge.

Stamped on the rear is F & S, a new manufacturer perhaps. No its out old friend Fattorini and Sons. This is a badge well liked in my collection.
