Another new acquisition this Morton T Colver piece is another very well designed badge. It is in great condition but the clasp on the back has been pushed in. Easy enough to fix I imagine but I’d rather not risk snapping it off.

Clacton 1965
Here is a good example of how an essentially simple badge can still be eye-catching and very effective. Made by Morton T. Colver for the 1965 holiday season this three colour badge is simple in the extreme but for some reason works in a way Minehead 1967 failed to for me. I nice simple motif.

Minehead 1967
I received a new acquisition today. A Minehead badge from 1967. When you compare its simplicity to the fantastic designs from the previous years you appreciate just how poor the badge is. But on its own merits it is a nice little design and in great condition. This expands my Minehead collection quite nicely and is very welcome indeed.
The maker for this is stamped on the pristine back and is Morton T. Colver of Birmingham.
